If you have chosen to be kept informed of future Mapped news then we will also use the information we collect from you to send you this information. We will not however use any sensitive personal information for this purpose.
Mapped may use a third party data processor or processors to process the information set out above on its behalf. Where it does so, that information will be made available to such data processor(s) purely for the purposes of processing that information on behalf of Mapped in accordance with Mapped instructions and not for any other purpose.
Transferring your personal information outside the European Economic Area
All date is held within the European Economic Area (“EEA”). If we transfer your information outside of the EEA in this way, we will obtain your consent to this and take steps to ensure that your privacy rights continue to be protected.
Log files/IP addresses
When you visit our Mapped Site, we automatically log your IP address (the unique address which identifies your computer on the internet) which is automatically recognised by our web server. We use IP addresses to help us administer the Mapped Site and to collect broad demographic information for aggregate use. We do not link IP addresses to personally identifiable information.
We may automatically collect non-personal information about you such as the type of internet browsers you use or the site from which you linked to the Mapped Site. You cannot be identified from this information and it is only used to assist us in promoting effective use of the Mapped site. We may from time to time supply the owners or operators of third party sites from which it is possible to link to the Mapped Site with information relating to the number of users linking to the Mapped Site from their sites. You cannot be identified from this information.
Disclosing your information to others
Mapped is a joint venture between Applied and Freshminds. Your information will not be disclosed to anyone who is a non-employee of these organisations.
We may also share your information with other entities within our corporate group. These entities may be based outside the EEA in countries which do not have similar data protection laws to the EEA.
Other than the disclosures referred to in this policy, we will not disclose any personal information without your permission unless we are legally entitled or obliged to do so (for example, if required to do so by Court order or for the purposes of prevention of fraud or other crime).
We will only sell or rent your personal information to a third party as part of a sale of the assets of Mapped, having ensured that steps have been taken to ensure that your privacy rights continue to be protected.

We cannot be responsible for the privacy policies and practices of other sites even if you access them using links from the Freshminds Site and recommend that you check the policy of each site you visit.
In addition, if you linked to the Mapped Site from a third party site, we cannot be responsible for the privacy policies and practices of the owners or operators of that third party site and recommend that you check the policy of that third party site and contact its owner or operator if you have any concerns or questions.
